Municipal Advisors Must Now Register with the SEC Beginning October 1, 2010, persons providing municipal advice on behalf of a municipal entity must register with the SEC using Form MA-T for temporary registration.

The Firm Brochure and the New Form ADV Part II Requirements
The SEC has made substantial changes to the type and form of disclosures investment advisers are required to make on Form ADV Part II. Advisers whose fiscal year ends on or after December 31, 2010, must file an annual updating amendment to their Form ADV with the new brochure(s) not later than March 31, 2011.
